So a lot of great work has gone into the last month or so at SIQ. I have completed a mini-book based on the "Empire of Fallen Gods" cannon and am pouring myself into creating fun content for DOPE. In my most recent move, I was able to land a sweet office for production, so expect more frequent updates again!

Comics about Mary Jane!

So recently I was syndicated by an awesome Medicinal Marijuana journal, called "DOPE Magazine" in Portland and the greater PNW! Their reporting on the topic of medicinal/recreational herb-use is really impressive and I can't express what an honor it is to be a part of the team. I have been working pretty hard on comics for them for the past few spring//summer months and I think the series they are including in their monthly print is a solid concept. New Banner for NoodleTimePDX!

New banner for my Ramen/Pho/Udon blog, Noodle Time PDX.
Thinking about switching the SIQMAG banner too but not sure if I like anything more than Satan reading my comics approvingly. A lot in the works, folks... A lot in the works.

Really though, I have a mini novel 75% ready for print and a few looks into the world of "Empire of the Fallen Gods" coming shortly. Most of the work I have been doing lately has been writing/concept but I promise some good ol' fashioned edit n' update sessions this month.

Some cool stuff in the works. Recently I felt the desire to log my adventures in Ramen, Phò, and Noodle Shops of all kinds in Portland so I started a blog about it! I feel like I have dedicated a lot of time to the noodley goodness and feel like it probably deserves some writing/creativity on my part. Plus, I feel like I can't be the ONLY one who likes Ramen and Phò this much…Can I?

Breaking Bad: THE DRINKING GAME

Okay so bear with me. Yes, I am a Breaking Bad fan.
That said, the last few weeks of Breaking Bad have been rivetting, no question. But what made them even more fun for MY friends was a drinking game we have been playing while watching Walter White's empire crumble. We liked it so much, I am going to share it with all of you, below is a printable version, and even a BLANK version for if you want to make up your own twisted rules. Enjoy everybody! It's a tough one. Every time we play, someone ends up peeing on my laptop....Oops I mean TV, ofcourse.

A trip into the past...

Welcome to the Future.

So I have all these ideas sitting around on notes from the Miami days and honestly....A part of me misses lampooning that grotesque puddle of a city when I look through them... I am going to be releasing a few more Welcomes, new headliner and all that, through Tropicult and the blog. Miami is a place of consistantly evolving (or devolving maybe..) craziness. There is ALWAYS a turd larger than the one you just saw in the middle of the street, always a more bedazzled pair of Af*liction jeans, always a more annoying promoter/DJ/gogo dancer/house head/rapper/slashslashslash. The point is, I will SINK Miami in the comics as the end all be all (spoiler alert)....But not yet.
For now, the notes from yesteryear...
